FAMILY PORTRAITS
I recently had the pleasure of working with Shadiah and Trey for their baby's 2nd birthday session, which also included capturing some beautiful family portraits. Working with families has taught me that we all have different values and ways of connecting with our loves ones and others. With six nieces and nephews of my own, I’ve gained a wealth of experience and patience, especially with children. I love capturing the little ones, in all their unpredictable thoughts, joyful bursts, and curiousness!
For many families, this is their first experience in my home studio. I understand that, like us, children are also trying to find their place in the world. An I love giving families and babies the space to just be themselves, connect and talk. Often, the genuine conversations and interactions between parents and their children are exactly what I'm looking to capture. During our session, I got to see so many incredible sides to their baby Shi while giving him space to play and be himself! It was truly a wonderful experience to work with them!
